Foliora
A full-stack Next.js portfolio and blog platform with an admin CMS, 218 themes, optional AI writing and PostgreSQL via Prisma.
Overview
I built a full-stack portfolio and blog platform that anyone can run as their own site. It pairs a VS Code-inspired public layout with an admin dashboard, so projects, posts and site content are managed without touching code.
Challenge
Most portfolio templates are static pages that need a code change for every update. I wanted a real CMS behind the site, with themes, SEO and media handled for you, that still deploys like a normal Next.js app.
What I shipped
- 218 themes with light and dark variants, switched from the admin settings
- A blog and project CMS with drafts, tags, categories, featured flags and SEO fields
- Admin sign-in with Better Auth (magic link and Google)
- S3 image uploads compressed in the browser and served as AVIF and WebP through next/image
- Optional OpenAI helpers for blog drafts and project SEO metadata
- Contact form email, YouTube videos, sitemap, Open Graph, JSON-LD and strict security headers
Result
The platform is open source under MIT with a live demo. Developers can clone it, connect PostgreSQL and run their own portfolio and blog in a few commands.
